Director of Family Engagement

The Director of Family Engagement leads a talented team of program managers in setting vision and direction for family engagement – centered on our home visiting work – that enable Thrive to extend statewide strategies. Working collaboratively with our partners at the Department of Early Learning and with Thrive’s Community Momentum and Program Innovation teams, the Director will enter at a time of compelling opportunity to shape vision and facilitate design of our expanding family engagement strategies connected to Washington’s communities. Thrive is moving into a strategic phase of statewide system building for home visiting, working to blend new funding sources and agency partnerships and to provide increasingly effective and efficient capacity building support for agencies.

Communications Manager

The Communications Manager works closely with the Director of Communications & External Affairs on internal and external communications that advance Thrive’s work and the overall early learning field. We are looking for a Communications Manager to help us to build staff communications skills as well as rebuild and strengthen some of our foundational communications and deliver that content in new and more powerful ways. The successful candidate will be skilled at developing and implementing high-value communications strategies and have a passion for creating opportunities for every child in our state to get a great start in life.

Family Engagement Manager

Thrive is seeking an experienced family engagement program specialist with the capability to play a lead role in Thrive’s design of new initiatives. The Family Engagement Manager will provide leadership and support for family engagement developments that enable Thrive to extend our statewide strategies. Working closely and collaboratively with senior team members as well as Thrive’s Community Momentum and Program Innovation teams, the Manager will have a compelling opportunity to spearhead design thinking for our expanding strategy. For home visiting, these new developments will focus on our partnership with DEL to build statewide professional learning systems as an integrated component of our leadership and technical support capacity building for implementing agencies. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for racial equity, and a commitment to addressing the opportunity gap in Washington communities, and the capability to work effectively on new endeavors with a broad array of cross-sector stakeholders.
